Your first visit to our office will be very similar to any other medical appointment you’ve ever had. We will discuss your medical history and symptoms, and try to pinpoint the answers to some important questions:
- When and/or how did the back pain start?
- How are you affected by the pain in terms of activities and range of motion?
- What is your level of pain?
- Are there other symptoms you’re feeling as a result of the pain?
If you have recent X-rays available, we will ask you to bring those with you to the first appointment. If you don’t have those available, we will likely perform some X-ray scans to properly diagnose your back pain. After the exam and looking over your X-rays, our chiropractor will discuss his findings with you and recommend a specific chiropractic course of treatment.
Types of Chiropractic Care for Back Pain
